Design at Denton Drapes specialise in the creation of high quality couture soft furnishings hand-sewn by our skilled team of curtain makers applying traditional skills and techniques with contemporary design and technology in our fully equiped Bedfordshire workrooms.

We provide a complete end-to-end service for all your soft furnishing needs from window treatment design to a professional fitting and hanging service. We offer a wide range of beautiful fabrics along with the best quality poles, tracks and haberdashery.

We sell fabrics to trade customers and our unique metric printed canvas table covers are extremely popular. Many curtain makers also take advantage of our workroom training days as well as our eyelet service.

As a Member of the Association of Master Upholsterers and Soft Furnishers and subject to their rigorous assessment process, all of our work is covered by the AMUSF Code of Practice. Our Design Director, Penny Bruce, has been elected to the Board of the Association as a Director and is committed to the protection and development of the soft furnishing craft.

Since 1997 Penny has built Denton Drapes from a home based business to a fully staffed and equipped professional soft furnishing business providing couture soft furnishings and workroom services nationwide for domestic clients, interior designers and the soft furnishing trade.
